Grote Industries Invests in the Future of Madison’s Riverfront

Madison, Indiana, February 27, 2023

The Madison Riverfront Development Committee is pleased to announce that Grote Industries, a global manufacturer located in Madison, has pledged a $50,000 donation to the Super Overlook Project. Their pledge to the project demonstrates Grote’s long-term commitment to the Riverfront, the City of Madison, and to Jefferson County.

“One of the reasons our grandfather Walter Grote moved his company to Madison in 1959 was its beautiful setting on the Ohio River. Ever since then, Madison’s riverfront has been a common thread for our team members and their families both past and present. We believe in its beauty and importance to our community and are proud to support the Super Overlook project and the impact it will have for us and generations to follow” said Dominic Grote, President & CEO.

The Super Overlook will serve as Madison’s crown jewel along with premier location for local events such as weddings, festivals, concerts, car shows, fundraisers, and fishing tournaments, as well as stops by the Delta Queen, American Queen, and Mississippi Queen riverboats. Additionally, it will be the anchor for Madison’s largest event of the year, the Indiana Governor’s Cup Regatta.
