Arvin Sango Foundation Celebrates 25th Anniversary in the Madison Community with Increased Pledge to Super Overlook Project

Madison, Indiana, February 20, 2023

Arvin Sango Foundation is recognizing its 25th year as a member of Jefferson County and the City of Madison. To mark this milestone, Arvin Sango Foundation is pledging to the Madison Super Overlook Project $250,000.

Scott Hubbard, President of Arvin Sango Foundation stated, “We’ve enjoyed being a part of the Madison Community and contributing to its growth over the past 25 years.” Hubbard further stated, “the Super Overlook Project will further solidify Madison’s reputation as the riverfront destination for outdoor events, river access, and picturesque views. We’re honored to be a part of this project.”

The Riverfront Development Committee has been humbled by the community’s support for the project. “Donations from organizations like Arvin Sango Foundation and private individuals, are what have made this project possible,” stated JD Webster of Madison’s Riverfront Development Committee.

The $250,000 pledge from Arvin Sango Foundation is the largest single company donation for the Super Overlook Project to date. This brings the community donation total for the project to an impressive $1,650,000!

Super Overlook Project Highlights:

*Level 1: 4800 Sq. Ft. Anguler Structure providing seating and 1200 sq. ft. of shade daily.(10X bigger than existing overlooks)

*Level 2: 1200 Sq. Ft. Arched Structure Observation Deck providing incredible views of the breathtaking Madison Riverfront.

*8-9 Lighted rows

*Total terraced seating length approx. 230-250 feet long

*Street level, raised approx. 12-15 feet from current location

*Construction of 90% concrete (faux stone) and 10% steel.

The Super Overlook will serve as Madison’s crown jewel along with premier location for local events such as weddings, festivals, concerts, car shows, fundraisers, and fishing tournaments, as well as stops by the Delta Queen, American Queen, and Mississippi Queen riverboats. Additionally, it will be the anchor for Madison’s largest event of the year, the Indiana Governor’s Cup Regatta.
